There is a pain in wanting.I sit in dirty but bejeweled imperfection  We're right here yet so far apart  Every sad inspiration  forms a trail to you  And I stop  to meditate on everything  that surrounds you   
There is a force that rips  the fiber of my existence  I build it up  
from the misery of wanting you  Experiencing pain for affection  I'm topsy turvy  
Not stable   
I know what you see  Gliding on ground  Taking a moment to converse  with God  Glossed lips  Spiked heels  Black on black  Stoic  Something beautiful  but I know what I am & There is a pain in wanting.

Freeze frameAnd then time took a moment  and let us by  Heavy breathing  Fidgeting  Now that we've locked eyes  Hearts stop beating  for a moment  to intertwine  After dodging glances  and cornering eyes  finally synchronized  The world faded  just for a while  Everything hazy  you and me  Then time took up it's luggage  and headed for the train  and I looked away Freeze frame

Meek and mildSometimes my voice becomes  butterfly wings  tapping against wet glass  so faint yet thought to be heard  I plead with thin air  
hoping it will reach someone  I see you  Quiver  I think for a moment  you can see these things  My mind follows you  measuring every intention  Will we run out of thoughts?  Is it possible?  Sometimes I feel the vibrations  of your heartbeat  So strong I shift  Once in a while I see you  We go through the motions  You become my ink, my pen, my canvas  Sometimes I write poetry  Sometimes I write it for you Meek and mild

SeventeenBeen young once  but life made me grow  Faint heartbeats  under tinted skin  Wounded by the contents of time  Incidents stealing me out of my prime   
Smiled once  Think it felt like tasteless honey  Everything seems golden  until life lets you know  that a lie must be lived  before it's told   
Like greats walls of a great empire  finally cast down   
Felt once  We were so close  there's no denying  
the sense of touch   
 
Been sixteen once  Not anymore Seventeen
